After taking my dad to the airport, my brother's girlfriend: Janice wanted to get something to eat. She recommended Tribu-- a Filipino restaurant.

(Tribu sounds like a brand name for slippers!) I was curious. There really isn't alot of Filipino restaurants around here that I liked that made it all seem like I was at a carinderia or turo-turo or simply a Filipino restaurant.

The place had a feel of like being at Dencio's or Leslie's in Tagaytay considering the cold weather. It had the same ambiance but I was not totally impressed by the set-up.

So I had sisig and Bagoong rice. Boy, it's even better than the ones they serve in the PI. So much better too compared to Goldilocks (Concord), Max's, Dj's Bibingkahan (Vallejo) or Gerry's Grill (Union City).

Definitely something you should try! Price isn't that bad either. (Usually, it's a rip-off when you want the native food).

So there~ Enjoy!
